Highgate Howe is a family owned and personally managed caravan Holiday Home Park, set in the outstanding natural beauty of the North Yorkshire National Park, just outside of the fishing and historical port of Whitby.
With magnificent panoramic views of the moors, countryside and coastline, Highgate Howe is the perfect place from which to explore this beautiful stretch of the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast. With endless fossil hunting, rock pooling, sandy beaches, wonderful natural moorland and coastal villages to explore as well as popular attractions such as Whitby Abbey, there really is something for everyone.
Highgate Howe lies in an elevated position approximately 3 miles from Whitby town centre and is an immaculately kept, select, family run caravan Holiday Home park. We are a very sought after park with panoramic views of the area - Whitby and its abbey, moors, sea, coastline...
All caravan Holiday Homes are owner-occupied. We do not have Holiday Homes to let or take touring vans or tents making it a very quiet, very friendly and very safe environment for young and old alike.
There's lots to do nearby whether you drive, cycle or walk. Close by we have the 'Cinder Track' cycle track which goes from Whitby to Scarborough and we have easy access to the 'Cleveland Way' cliff-top, coastal path. Neighbouring 'Saltwick Bay' is a sandy cove with fantastic fossiling opportunities. There are also many attractive coastal and moorland villages to visit along with local attractions.
Whether you long for the coast or countryside, or 'just get away from it all' Highgate Howe Holiday Home Park is the ideal retreat.
